The
Rehabilitation Institute of Kansas City is accredited
by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). CARF
is an independent, non-profit accrediting body promoting quality,
value and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative
accreditation process that centers on enhancing lives of persons
served.
CARF accreditation is awarded to organizations showing substantial fulfillment of the standards established by CARF. An organization receiving a three-year CARF accreditation has been through a rigorous peer review process and demonstrated its programs and services are the highest quality, measurable and accountable.
The Rehabilitation Institute of Kansas City takes pride in being the first rehabilitation facility in Missouri to achieve CARF accreditation. Since our first accreditation in 1971 the Institute has continually held the accreditation status.
