2008 Employee of the Year
Janet Padley, Classroom Instructor: Pediatric and Adolescent Program.
"Shocked, happy and excited," were the first words Janet said as she described what it felt like to be the 2008 Employee of the Year. Janet has worked at the Institute nearly 11 years. She provides classroom instruction to patients grades K-12 while they are getting treatment. Partnering with school districts, she makes recommendations on what the kids might need when they return to school to ensure a successful transition. "Winning this award is a great honor," she said.
