Volunteer Opportunities
We currently have three avenues for you to volunteer your time and talents with our organization.

The Rehabilitation Institute Auxiliary
A membership organization, consisting of but not limited to retired individuals, who raise funds and increase awareness of us through a variety of activities. More about our Auxiliary.

Service Volunteers
Provide regular hands-on volunteer support. As a service volunteer you are asked to commit a minimum of 4 hours per week in the program area you select. Our volunteer coordinator will work with you to match your interests and abilities to our volunteer needs. Service opportunities are available for both adults and junior volunteers. We also work with local schools who have service requirements for students.

To learn more about our volunteer opportunities, please contact Dana Chatlin at 816-751-7815 or dana.chatlin@rehabkc.org.

Event Volunteer
The Rehabilitation Institute of Kansas City holds two major events every year: A Day at the Lake, a water sports clinic for persons with spinal cord injuries and Arts on the Hill, a juried art exhibit for artists with disabilities. There are a limited number of volunteer positions open. If you would like to learn more about each event, please visit our Upcoming Events section. If you are interested in volunteering at either event, please contact Sara Ruzicka at 816.751.7764.
